Blues legend BB King comes out of retirement to play four arena concerts with John Mayall. June 2009

BB King, who has  been performing since 1947, entertained British audiences in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and London during June 2009.  He was joined on the tour by British blues veteran, John Mayall, who peformed a first-half set prior to BB taking over for the second half.

The 14-times Grammy winner peformed the dates with his famous guitar despite annoucing his retirement from international touring in 2006.
