The Sugababes followed up their recent chart success with an extensive UK tour, covering all parts of the country they wanted to make sure their fans don't miss out on the spectacular stage show.
As part of this Canegreen has been contracted to supply sound services. FOH engineer Andrew Thornton wanted to take the Meyer MICA box due to its vocal clarity and its size which is perfectly suited to the mainly theatre venues. These were joined by Meyer 700HP subs with MSL4's,UPA-1P's and UPM-1P's as fills to give a great all round package that offered maximum flexibility.
System tech Jesse Godolphin and Andrew worked together previously on the Futureheads and their experience and skills ensure they get the best out of the equipment.
Out front Andrew is using a Digidesign D Show with a protools rig, this set up means he can eq and soundcheck the girls vocals even if they are fulfilling other commitments before the show. The Digidesign plug-ins are also a firm favourite with Andrew and keep everything nice and compact.
On stage Darren Wardle uses a Yamaha PM5D console to drive the mainly IEM monitoring while tech Paul McCauley keeps everything tidy and running smoothly.
