| On Monday August 11th 2008 and after eight months of solid negotiation, we finally concluded the effective merger of what is our life’s work, Canegreen, with industry leader, SSE Audio Group. |

 We’re so very excited with what the future now holds for us.
Canegreen as the well known brand that you’ve all come to know and love will continue and grow offering Meyer and EAW speaker products as it always has. Canegreen will continue as a trading name under the SSE Audio Group banner. Canegreen is now fully owned by the SSE Audio Group. We are now both Directors and shareholders in the SSE Audio Group. This includes hire, sales, manufacturing and the French operation Melpomen.
We will continue with our current team to be hands on. We will continue to have a London presence. Our touring packages and staff will remain unchanged. Our ethos of 25 years (yes, it’s that long!) will be the same! We will remain at the Canegreen helm indefinitely whilst utilising our skills deeper within our new, enlarged, SSE Audio Group.
 What will change will only be for the better. The combination of our two infrastructures will allow us to give more time and attention to our customers.
Every customer is important to us and in this ever changing industry of bureaucratic and legal stipulation, we can move forward with all bases covered.
Whilst we both started in this industry as hobbyists, enthusiasts and ex-pop stars (and good times they were too!), the demands of modern business are so very different now. This ‘’fine tuning’’ is a necessary requirement and one that we happily make.
Both sides needed to be completely satisfied with what was on the table for this merger to work. This we achieved with relative ease. Moreover, the further that we went with our discussions, the more obvious it all became! We expect and encourage this template to roll out in the near future to others in our industry.
As two halves we were good. As a whole we’ll be even better. We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to achieve this ground breaking union with SSE. We’re absolutely delighted that we’ll be working together with such a strong team and we just can’t wait to give our customers the benefits.
