The Radio 2 Folk Awards again took place in the Porter Tun rooms at The Brewery in Chiswell st London.
Canegreen provided the sound for the fifth year running and again proved their experience in design and application with the Meyer System coupled with Yamaha PM5D consoles. The show was recorded live for broadcast and as always the working relationship with the BBC outside broadcast team was vital.
Performing artists this year included Bellowhead, Salsa Celtica, Eliza Carthy and Pentangle who reformed for the event. Timings as always for awards shows are crucial so our crew had to be at their professional best.
